Powderpuff Derby & SFA Ladyjack game

Today was filled with exciting Girl Scout events!  First, the Powderpuff Derby held at the mall this morning, where I believe 11 of our troop members raced in either the Daisy or the Brownie races.  :)  Then, this evening we had the official Girl Scout game night for the SFA Ladyjack Basketball team.  A Girl Scout sang the National Anthem and the Green Starlettes performed during the half-time show.  Wow!  What a day!

STEM event

Kesha, Bess, and I were the lucky troop leaders who were able to put together an amazing STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) event at SFA...thanks, in large part, to the math department there who generously donated money to make it all happen.  


The girls had a great time taking part in our many math and science rooms and making their guesses at the estimation station. 


A rollicking good time was had by all (especially at the Playful Polymers stations!)
